The son of John Weymouth, late of Brislington, Somerset, yeoman (A).

1780 17 Jan. He was apprenticed to William II and Elizabeth Maynard with £10.10s.0d premium (A, Ao).

 

WHEELER Agnes (Amelia)

Born c1841 in Temple parish, the sister of Thomas Wheeler and daughter-in-law of James Thomas II(71C).

1871 8 Little Avon Street, Temple parish (30), living with her sister Ellen (40) and her husband James Thomas (38) a potter born in London, also her son Thomas Wheeler (20), labourer at pottery, born in Temple parish (71C).
1872 27 Apr. Described as a potter at the Bristol Pottery, aged 32, she committed suicide by jumping off the Bath Bridge into the River Avon, after being injured in a fight with another woman outside the Bird in Hand pub in Temple Meads.  She was the sister of Ellen Thomas, the wife of the potter James Thomas (Bristol Mercury).

1890 21 Oct. Albert Charles White appeared at Cardiff Police court charged with falsely representing that he was the agent of the Baptist Mills Pottery Company and authorised to solicit orders for goods. He was remanded pending the attendance of a witness from the pottery (Western Daily Press).
