In 1846 the firm of Pountney and Goldney presented to the Bristol Museum a vase made by Edward Raby and coloured by William Fifield. Pountney (1920, 130) attributes another vase to Raby and states it was made in 1840, but it appears that Raby was still in Stoke at that time.
Pounteny (1920, 131) states his Edward Raby’s son Samuel worked at the Royal Porcelain Works, Worcester, in 1856.
