Born in c1834 in Temple parish, the daughter of Thomas I and Elizabeth Webster and sister of Elizabeth, William and Fanny Webster (51C).

WEBSTER Thomas

Born c1802 in Temple parish, husband of Elizabeth, father of Elizabeth, William, Mary and Fanny and father-in-law of Felix Baggley (51C, PPR).

1825 3 Oct. He married Elizabeth Lane in Bedminster (Ancestry website).
1826-31 Temple parish (TPR, PPR).
1837 26 Mar. Queen Street, St Philip’s parish (PPR).
1840 15 Jul. Bread Street, St Philip’s parish (PPR).
1841 Rose Alley, Temple Street (30), living with his wife Elizabeth (30) born in Bristol and children (41C).
1844 12 Mar. Noted as a potter when his son William was apprenticed to J.D. Pountney (A).

1861 Potter and publican, 1 Thomas Street, St Thomas’s parish (29), living with his wife Jane (24), born in Bedminster, and children (61C).

WEEKS John I

1838 25 Aug. Possibly the John Weeks, a boy about 15 years old, who was charged with maliciously cutting and wounding Richard Griffith. The prosecutor stated that he was a journeyman potter at Mr White’s pottery in Redcross Street and it was his duty and that of another boy, in the same employ, to make the stove fire on alternate mornings. In an argument over the lighting of the fire, Weeks stabbed Griffith twice. He was further remanded (Bristol Mercury).
1847 10 Oct. Baptist Mills, St Philip’s parish on the baptism of his son James Thomas (born 5 May 1847).  Wife Elizabeth (PPR).
1874 8 Feb. Noted as a potter when his daughter Elizabeth Sarah (22) of Trinity Street married Thomas Rowland (APR).

1727 29 Mar. He was described as a potter when his son, William, was apprenticed to Philip Ward, cordwainer (A).

1868 7 Nov. ‘Joseph Cole was charged with stealing a pair of trousers and a waistcoat from Mr Price’s Pottery, the property of Francis West … The accused pleaded guilty to the charge, and was sentenced to six weeks hard labour’ (Bristol Mercury).
