1674 15 or 22 Jul. He was described as a Bristol potter, deceased, when his son, Thomas, was apprenticed to Mary Everard, tobacco cutter (A, Ar).

1823-27 George Cox ran the St Philip’s Pottery 4.

The Pottery was then taken over by Edward Melsom & Company.
