MOUNTFORD Joshua

The father of James Mountford (PPR).

1854 7 Aug. Noted as a potter (though not necessarily of Bristol) when his son James Mountford (25) a potter of Kilkenny married Ann Halmarack (PPR).

Born in 1854 in Temple parish, the daughter of James and Ann Mountford and sister of Isabella and Selina Mountford (PPR, 61C).

1854 24 Dec. Baptised the daughter of James and Ann Mountford (PPR).
1871 Earthenware transferer, 6 Rose Alley, Temple parish (16), living with her parents James and Ann Mountford (71C).
1875 22 Mar. No occupation given when she married William James Smalldridge, a potter (PPR).

MOUNTFORD Maud

Born c1878 in Hawkesbury Upton, Gloucestershire, the wife of James Mountford V (11C).

1911 Handler at pottery, 2 Grove Place, Fishponds (33), living with her husband (11C).

MOUNTFORD Selina

Born in 1856 in Temple parish, the daughter of James and Ann Mountford and sister of Isabella and Mary Ann Mountford (PPR, 61C).

1856 25 May. Baptised the daughter of James and Ann Mountford (PPR).
1871 Earthenware sponger, 6 Rose Alley, Temple parish (14), living with her parents James and Ann Mountford (71C).
1878 23 Dec. No occupation given when she married Richard Short, a labourer (RPR).

1854 26 Aug. George Naish, potter, late apprentice of John Decimus Pountney, potter, a free burgess deceased, indenture of apprentice dated 12 March 1844 produced.  Apprentice identified by J.G. Hawley, manager to J.D. Pountney (FM).
