BOWDEN Susan II
Born in 1850 in St Philip’s parish, the daughter of Charles Bowden and the sister of Emma and Richard Bowden (PPR, 71C).

BOWDEN William
Born c1815 in Sicily, British subject, probably the brother of John Bowden (51C, Ao).
The son of Thomas Bowden, a soldier in the 62nd Regiment, who was stationed in Sicily at the time of William Bowden’s birth. He left the army and lived in Oxford Street, St Philip’s Marsh (information from Bob Wright).

1738 | 27 Apr. A John Bowen married Mary Berrow (RPR). It has been suggested that this was John Bowen, the potter (Ray 1968, 66) but no occupation is given in the marriage register. |
1739 | 19 April. His apprenticeship was transferred to Josiah and Elizabeth Bundy (A). |
