THOMAS George I

1873 15 Apr. Noted as a potter, not necessarily of Bristol, when his son Champion (43) a widower and brick maker of 17 Portwall Lane, St Mary Redcliffe parish married Sarah Ann Price (RPR).

THOMAS James I

1805 24 Dec. He was apprenticed to Joseph and Sarah Ring (A, Ao).
1827 21 Jul. Noted as a pot maker when his son William was apprenticed to William Scatts, a cooper (A).
1831 8 Jul. Noted as a pot maker when his son James was apprenticed to John Symes, a tailor (A).

Born c1833 in London, father-in-law of Agnes and Thomas Wheeler (71C).

1871 Labourer at pottery, 8 Little Avon Street, Temple parish (38) living with his wife Ellen (40) born in Temple parish and sister-in-law Agnes Wheeler (30) a potter and brother-in-law Thomas Wheeler (20) labourer at pottery, both born in Temple parish (71C).
1872 27 Apr. He was a potter living at 11 Little Ann Street, Great Gardens when his sister-in-law Amelia (Agnes) Wheeler committed suicide (Bristol Mercury).

1851 19 Jan. Noted as a potter when his son William, a potter, of Thomas Street married Mary Wall (ThPR).
1851 He had died and his wife had remarried to Joseph Tuckwell.  She was born in Eastwood, Glamorgan (51C).
