Born c1882 in Bristol, the sister of Emma Cook III and Kate Cook (01C).

COOK Edward

Born c1854 in Derby, the father of Ruth Cook (11C).

1911 Potter, clay work, 21 Balaclava Road, Fishponds (47), living with his wife Elizabeth (46), born in Stoke, and children Ruth (16), Louisa (14), Lilian (12), Harry (10) and Elizabeth (8), all born in Stoke (11C).

COOK Emma I

See the Potteries List section for the Bedminster Pottery.

The Pottery had previously been run by her father, Charles Cook.

1848-51 Emma Cook I ran the Bedminster Pottery.

Then the Pottery seems to have closed.  In 1854 the site was described as having been formerly occupied by a Pottery.

1826 5 Mar. Baptised the daughter of Charles and Harriet Cook (RPR).
1848-51 E. Cook, red ware potter, Boot Lane, Bedminster (MD).
1854 2 Sep. For sale by auction ‘Lot 1. A valuable piece of freehold ground, situate in Boot Lane … with the buildings and erections thereon, formerly occupied as a pottery’ (Bristol Mercury).

1783-84 Potter, Counterslip (Temple-W).
1797 Possibly the John Cook, potter, whose property adjoined the common sewer in Avon Street, Temple parish (Q).

Born c1860 in St Philip’s parish, the brother of William John Cooksey I and the father of Geirge Henry Cooksey II (91C, 01C, PPR).

1880 8 Nov. St Philip’s parish (22) the son of William Cooksey, fitter, he married Selina Williamson (21) of St Philip’s parish (PPR).
1882 29 Jan. Living in St George on the baptism of his daughter Selina Ann (born 28 Dec 1881) (PPR).
1884 30 Mar. Living at 12 Bright Street, St Philip’s parish on the baptism of his son George Henry (born 9 Mar 1884) (PPR).
