Born c1815 in Bedminster (51C).

1841 Clerk, West Street, Bedminster (25), born in Somerset (41C).
1851 Accountant pottery, Albert Place, Bedminster (36), living with his wife Elizabeth (30), born in Merthyr, Glamorgan, Wales. The household also included Sarah Ann Corner (20), a house servant (51).
1857 30 May. Testimonial of Respect. Mr G. H. Tasker being about to retire from the Bristol Pottery, after having been engaged there for upwards of a quarter of a century. Mrs Pountney and the other proprietors, and his fellow clerks, entered into a subscription, and on Saturday last presented him with a massive silver inkstand, manufactured by Mess Taylor, College Green (Bristol Mercury).
