1857 | 30 May. Testimonial of Respect. Mr G. H. Tasker being about to retire from the Bristol Pottery, after having been engaged there for upwards of a quarter of a century. Mrs Pountney and the other proprietors, and his fellow clerks, entered into a subscription, and on Saturday last presented him with a massive silver inkstand, manufactured by Mess Taylor, College Green (Bristol Mercury). |
