SWEET John

Born c1820 in Bristol, the son of Thomas Sweet I and the brother of James and Thomas Sweet II (MLPPR, 41C).

1834 4 Mar. He was apprenticed to J.D. Pountney, aged 14 years (A, Ao).
1840 13 Jul. 2 St Mary-le-Port Street, St Mary-le-Port parish, the son of Thomas Sweet, a potter, he married Ann Martin the daughter of Henry Martin, a brick maker (MLPPR).
1841 Goughs Court, Temple parish (21), living with his wife Ann (20) born in Bristol (41C).
1846 28 Jun. Temple parish on the baptism of his children James Elizabeth and Sarah Ann.  Wife Ann (TPR).
1851 Potter presser, widower, 11 Harris Yard, Temple parish (29), living with his children Sarah (8) and Jane (4) (51C).
1861 Potter, 47 Hotwells Road, Clifton (39), living with his wife Mary Ann (29) and daughter Jane (15), both born in Bristol (61C).
