Born c1829 in Temple parish, the father of James Seaman II (51C, 61C) (called James in PPR and 61C and John in 51C).

1847 5 Sep. Noted as a potter on the baptism of his son James Isaac (aged 9 wks). Wife Mary Ann (PPR).
1851 8 Church Alley, St Philip’s parish (22), living with his wife Mary (21) born in Temple parish and son James (3) born in Temple parish (51C).
1861 Sheats Court, St Philip’s parish (34), living with his wife Mary A. (33), a shoe binder, born in Temple parish, and son James (14), a potter’s apprentice (61C).
