16 Dec. Inquest into the death of Frederick Porter, aged 16 years, of Rowley Place, Chatterton Square, St Mary Redcliffe parish, a potter’s assistant at Messrs Price’s Pottery, Victoria Street. He had tried to enter and use a lift that had been intended only for the use of carrying clay. He was crushed between the lift and the floor of a room. Verdict: accidental death (Bristol Mercury). |
