PALMER Daniel I

Born c1829 in Temple parish, the father of William Hodgson Palmer and Daniel Palmer II (51C, 61C, EPR).

1844 12 Mar. He was apprenticed to J.D. Pountney ‘to learn the art of a saucer maker’. Aged 15 years (Ao).
1851 4 Rings Buildings, Temple parish (22), living with his wife Mary Ann (22), born in Bristol, and son Daniel (2), born in Bristol (51C)
1852 12 Dec. Temple parish on the baptism of his son William Hodgson (born 21 Apr 1852).  Wife Mary Ann (TPR).
1861 Labourer, 4 Squires Court, Temple parish (32), living with his wife Mary A. (31), born in St Stephen’s parish, and children Charles (7), George (3) and Frederick (1), all born in Temple parish (61C).
1869 He died in Bristol, aged 40 (Ancestry website).
1870 30 May.  Noted as a potter when his son William Hodgson Palmer (19) a potter, of 14 Avon Square, married Sarah Rushmore (EPR).
1871 24 Dec. Noted as a potter when his son William Hodgson Palmer (22), a potter of 4 Bethal Place, married Mary Ann Firnevell (EPR).
