Born c1848 in Temple parish (71C).

1871 Sugar baker, 12 Mead Street, Bedminster (23), living with his wife Hannah (25), born in Temple parish, and daughter Mary Helena (2), born in Bedminster (71C).
1881 Foreman, stoneware pottery, 17 Mead Street, Bedminster (33), living with his wife Hannah (34) and children Robert (9), George (5) and Hannah (1), all born in Bedminster (81C).
1885 30 Dec. He was probably the T.J. Lewis described as foreman of Messrs Powell and Sons pottery when a fire occurred in an adjoining building (Bristol Mercury).
1901 Insurance collector, 17 Mead Street, Bedminster (53), living with his wife Hannah (54) and children, including William (17), born in Bristol (01C).
