1845-50 Bread Street, St Philip’s parish (PPR).
1851 Earthenware printer, 4 Avon Street, St Philip’s parish (40) living with his wife Caroline (35) a greengrocer, born in Westminster, London, and children (51C).
1853 5 Aug. Temple parish (TPR).
1861 Earthenware printer, widower, Avon Place, Temple parish (50), living with his children Caroline and Thomas George (61C).
1865 9 Apr. Bread Street, St Philip’s parish (PPR).
1871 Earthenware printer, 2 Lewis’s Buildings, Temple parish (60), living with his wife Ann (48) [he had remarried] and children (71C).
1878 5 Apr. ‘Died April 1 at 7 York Street, St Philip’s Marsh, Mr William Jefferies, aged 67. Fifty-two years in the employ of the Bristol Pottery Company’ (Western Daily Press).
1881 his wife was a widow (81C).
