It seems likely that the Pottery was taken over by Josiah Duffett in about 1780.
1772 | 3 Sep. ‘To be sold … Together or Separate. Several rich and valuable Closes of Meadow and Pasture Land … situate on the side of the River Avon within the parish of St Philip and Jacob … Also a large and commodious well built Pottery, with a large Yard and Sheds, landing stank, and every other conveniency, situate on the Bank of the River aforesaid, now let to Messrs. Henderson, Rice and Keenes … Also several tenements situate in or near Avon-Street, aforesaid. Apply to Mr Joseph Hill in Avon Street’ (BG). |

1773 | 4 Apr. T. Keene and Co. exported 2000 pieces of earthenware to Philadelphia (PB-EXP). |
1773 | 17 Dec. T. Keene and Co. exported 200 pieces of earthenware to Corunna (PB-EXP). |
1774 | 2 Jun and 16 Jun. A sale of property including: ‘Lot 1 All that Pottery Sheds and Premises situated on the Banks of the River Avon … now let to Messrs. Henderson, Rice and Keene, for a term of 21 years, commencing the 24th Day of June 1772 …’ (BG). |
