The son of John Haydon, late of Plymouth, Devon, cordwainer (A).

1772 23 Jan. He was apprenticed to Richard and Judith Champion (A, Ao).
1781 22 Feb. He became a free china painter (F, G).
1784 China painter, Plymouth, Devon (P).
