1841 Umbrella maker, Barton Court, St James’s parish (35), living with his children Mary (14), Louisa (9), Thomas (8), Elizabeth (5) and Matilda (3) (41C).
1851 Coal merchant, 17 Charles Street, St James’s parish (47), living with his wife Mary A. (48), born in Bristol, and children including Amelia (7) and Sarah (5), both born in Bristol (51C).
1853 8 May. Noted as a potter when his daughter Emma (23) of Charles Street, St James’s parish married Michael O’Brien (JaPR).
1861 8 Montague Street, St James’s parish (59), living with his wife Mary Ann (59), and children (61C).
1871 His wife was a widow (71C).
