GRACE John III

The son of John Grace I (A).

1733 18 Jun. He was apprenticed to John and Hester Weaver.  Friends to find apparel (A, Ao, Ar).
1740 10 Nov. A potter of Bristol he was bondsman to a licence granted to Isaac Littlewood, gentleman (M).
1750 1 Nov. Possibly the John Grace ‘Pot-Turner in the Glasgow Pot-House, aged 29 years or thereby’ who gave evidence in the Delftfield Pottery Case. It was stated in evidence that sometime before, he had been working at Joseph Fortee’s Pottery at Lambeth and had been working as a pot-turner for 17 years (Scottish Pottery Society 81/76).
