GOULD William

Born 1895 in St Philip’s parish, the son of George Benjamin Gould and the brother of George John Gould (01C).

1895 17 Feb. He was born (information from Mike Gloud).
1911 Porter tailor’s shop, 135 Cotswold Road, Bedminster (16), living with his parents and siblings (11C).
1918 1 Mar. When he was enlisted to the Royal Army Medical Corps at the age of 23, his occupation was given as ‘wedger’, so he was presumably working in a pottery (PRO British Army WW1 Service Records, 1914-20).
