Born c1811 in Bedminster, the father of Henry Davis (51C).

1826 29 Aug.  He was apprenticed to John Bright (A, Ao).
1830 29 Aug. St James’s parish (JaPR).
1834 2 Nov. Stoneware potter, St Mary Redcliffe parish (RPR).
1837 4 Jun. Stoneware potter, Bedminster (RPR).
1841 Stillhouse Lane, Bedminster (30) (41C).
1851 Stoneware potter, 2 Stillhouse Lane, Bedminster (40) (51C).
1854 4 Jun. Noted as a potter when his son William Davis (21) a butcher of Unity Street, St Philip’s parish married Mary Ann Scott (PPR).
1856 17 Aug. Noted as a potter when his daughter Mary Ann Davis (22) of Bedminster Causeway married George Williams (JBPR).
1861 Stoneware potter, 18 Charlotte Street, Bedminster (50) he was living with his wife Ann (48) tailoress of Banwell, Somerset and his children, including Henry (20), a stoneware potter (61C).
1871 Stoneware potter, 1 Back Aylburton Place, Bedminster (60) (71C).
