1694 8 Nov. He took Thomas Sherborne as apprentice ‘to be educated in the art of the potter’ (A).
1696 Probably the Isaac Davis, batchelor, living in Castle Precincts with Hester Davis, widow, a child, Thomas Sherborne, Samuel Davis, Susan King, Robert Toplief, Francis Fox and Martha Beatles, a servant (Ralph & Williams 1968, 9).
1702 The Corporation of Bristol: ‘Paid Isaac Davies, Esq., for earthenware as p. note £1.18s.8d’ (G).
