1739 He stood surety of £5 for John Stallaway to keep an alehouse in Temple parish (AKL).
1741 He stood surety of £5 for Francis Howsteed to keep an alehouse in St Stephen’s parish (AKL).
1747 14 Feb. An earthenwareman of Bristol, he was bondsman to the administration of the estate of Benjamin Tibbot, mariner (Adm.).
1748 23 Jan. A potter of Bristol, he was bondsman to the administration of the estate of James Gordon, mariner (Adm.).
1760 He stood surety of £5 for John Jacob to keep an alehouse in St Ewen’s parish (AKL).
1764 2 Aug. A potter of St Leonard’s parish, he was granted a licence to marry Hannah Young, of St Augustine’s parish at St Leonard’s (M).
1764 5 Aug. William Cosby married Hannah Young (LPR).
