The son of Henry Bishop of Wells, Somerset, victualler (A).

1751 26 Sep. He was apprenticed to Thomas II and Bathsheba Cantle.  Friends to find apparel (A, Ao, Ar).
1784 27 Apr. He became a free potter (F, G).
