Born c1857 in St Philip’s parish (71C, 91C).

1871 Potter. He was a patient in the Bristol Royal Infirmary (71C).
1881 He was an ableseaman on board HMS Agincourt in Gibraltar (23) (81C).
1891 General labourer, 15 Chapel Street, St Philip’s parish (33), living with his wife Laura (31), born in West Littleton, Gloucestershire, and daughter Louisa (3), born in St Philip’s parish (91C). The 1901 and 1911 census returns show he was working as a general labourer or malster.  He died in 1912 (Ancestry website).
