Born c1819 in St Philip’s parish, the father of Samuel, William VII, James IV, Thomas and Daniel Thomas II (61C, 71C).

1851 General grocer, 5 Millpond Street, Baptist Mills, St Philip’s parish (30), living with his wife Hannah (25), born in St Philip’s parish, and children (51C).
1859 24 Jul. Baptist Mills, St Philip’s parish (PPR).
1861 7 Red Rank, St Philip’s parish (42), living with his wife Hannah (34) a laundress born in St Philip’s parish and children (61C).
1868 8 Nov. Noted as a potter when his daughter Louisa, a laundress of Pennywell Road married John Hobbs (HTPR).
1871 Potter placer, 1 Cohens Buildings, Baptist Street, St Philip’s parish (52), living with his wife Hannah (46) and children (71C).
1881 Potter, unemployed, Freeland Road, Stapleton (63), living with his wife Susan (40), born in St George, and children (81C).
1882 15 Oct. Noted as a potter when his daughter Amelia (23) a machinist of Stapleton Road married William Vowles (HTPR).
1890 9 Jun. Noted as a potter when his son Samuel (37), a potter, of Jacob Street married Catherine Leonard (PPR).
