Born c1831 in St Philip’s parish, the father of William Taylor IV and James Taylor (61C).

1850 19 Mar. St Philip’s parish (a minor) the son of William Taylor, a labourer, he married Mary Ann Fear (a minor) of St Philip’s parish the daughter of Edwin Fear, a labourer (PPR).
1850-58 Oxford Road, St Philip’s parish (PPR).
1851 1 Cheese Lane, St Philip’s parish (21), living with his wife Mary Ann (18) a cotton spinner, born in Bristol (51C).
1861 Dish maker at pottery, Coxs Building, St Philip’s parish (30), living with his wife Mary Ann (28) born in St Philip’s parish and children (61C).
1863 19 Apr. Oxford Road, St Philip’s parish (PPR).
1866 & 68 Tylers Field, St Philip’s parish (PPR).
1871 2 Brick Fronts, Oxford Road, St Philip’s parish (41), living with his wife Mary Ann (38) and children (71C).
1877 2 Aug. Noted as a potter when his son William Taylor IV (21), a potter of Cheese Lane, St Philip’s parish married Sarah Gribble (PPR).
1880 17 Oct. Noted as a potter when his son John (20) a labourer of St Philip’s parish married Elizabeth Appleton (PPR).
1881 Potter at Bristol ware pottery, 5 Union Road, St Philip’s parish (50), living with his wife Mary Ann (48) and children (81C).
1881 18 Sep. Noted as a potter when his daughter Mary Ann (23) of St Philip’s parish married William Hancock (PPR).
1885 6 Dec. Noted as a potter, deceased, when his daughter Harriet (22) of Jacob Street married Edwin John Fry (PPR).
1891 His wife was a widow (91C).
