Born c1805 in St Philip’s parish (61C).

1819 22 Dec. He was apprenticed to James and Sarah Duffett (A, Ao).
1826-29 St Philip’s parish (PPR).
1850 24 Dec. Noted as a potter when his son Isaac (22) a brewer of St James’s Back married Esther Morgan (JaPR).
1851 Potter journeyman, Dolphin Street, St Woollos, Newport, South Wales (45), living with his wife Sarah (52), born in Bristol, and daughter Priscilla (51C).
1856 Dealer in brown ware, Orchard Street, Horton Street (KD).  (It is not clear whether this is the same Isaac Smith).
1861 Potter, 40 Folly Lane, St Philip’s parish (56), living with his wife Sarah (60) born in St Philip’s parish and daughter Priscilla (32) a shoemaker, born in St Philip’s parish (61C).
1871 1 Sidney Alley, St Philip’s parish (66), living with his wife Sarah and his daughter Priscilla (71C).
