MARTIN Charles Fenton

Born in 1824 in Bristol, the son of Charles Martin I (RPR, 61C).

1825 10 Apr. Aged 13 months he was baptised, the son of Charles I and Rachel Fenton (RPR).
1837 11 Oct. He was apprenticed to J.D. Pountney, aged 14 years (A, Ao).
1841 Apprentice pottery, 8 Water Buildings, Sergeant Street, Bedminster (17), living with his father Charles Martin I, potter (41C).
1844 28 May. Broadmead (22), the son of Charles Martin, a potter, he married Sophia Harvey (23) a packer of Broadmead, the daughter of George Harvey, labourer (JaPR).
1861 Potter, Rose Street, St Mary Redcliffe parish (37), living with his wife Sophia (40), boot binder, born in Bristol, and his mother-in-law, Sophia Harvey (61C).
1871 2 Hellins Court, St Mary Redcliffe parish (47) living with his wife Sophia (50) born in Bristol (71C).
1881 Potter’s turner, unmarried [but presumably a widower], boarding at 128 Heathcote Road, Longton, Staffordshire (57) (81C).
1891 Potter, boarding at 16 Goodfellow Street, Tunstall, Staffordshire (67) (91C).
