Born c1841 in Temple parish, the son of Joseph Justice I (71C).

1861 Apprentice white ware potter, 1 Glasshouse Court, Temple parish (20), living with his parents and siblings (61C).
1871 Potter, Elm Cottage, Bedminster (30), living with his wife Jane (23), born in Longport, Staffordshire, and children William (2), born in Bristol (or Mexbro, Yorkshire in 1881 census) and Thomas (1), born in Bristol (71C).
1881 Potter, 40 Manchester Road, Poplar, London (46), living with his wife Jane (33) and children including Mary A. (8), born in Burslem, Jane (6), born in Burslem, Louisa (3), born in Burslem and Joseph (1), born in Poplar (81C).
1911 He was still working as a potter in Poplar, aged 70 (11C).
