Born c1821 in Abergavenny, Monmouthshire (61C).

1834 4 Mar. He was apprenticed to J.D. Pountney, aged 14 years (Ao).
1841 Journeyman potter, Pipe Lane, Temple parish (20) (41C).
1841 25 Oct. Bishop Street, Bedminster, the son of John Harris, a maltster, he married Georgiana Elizabeth Clark of Bishop Street, the daughter of James Clark, a glass blower (JBPR).
1842 16 Oct. Great George Street, St Philip’s parish (PPR).
1845 15 Jun. Temple parish (TPR).
1861 Temple Backs, Temple parish (40) living with his wife Georgiana (48) born in Bristol and daughter Harriet (16) (61C).
1864 8 Feb. Noted as a potter when his daughter Harriet (19) of 4 Georges Alley married William Wright (RPR).

John (aged 3 wks), bapt 16 Oct 1842 (PPR), Harriet, bapt 15 Jun 1845 (TPR)
