GRACE John I

The father of John Grace III and the brother-in-law of John Weaver.

1709 15 Oct. A potter of Temple parish he was granted a licence to marry Mary Weaver of the same parish, at Temple.  Bondsman: Edward Ward II, potter (M).  Mary Weaver was the sister of the potter, John Weaver (PRO Prob RG11/667).
1733 18 Jun. Described as a potter when his son, John III, was apprenticed to John Weaver, potter (A, Ao, Ar).
1734 13 Sep. He was living in a house in St Augustine-the-Less parish owned by John Weaver, potter (PRO Prob RG11/667).
1739 8 May. Described as a potter when his son, Henry, was apprenticed to John Mason, turner (A, Ar).
1742 8 Jan. A potter of Temple parish he was bondsman to a licence granted to William Cory, glazier (M)
1742 16 Mar. Described as a potter when his son, John Weaver Grace, was apprenticed to William Cory, glazier (A).
