1936 | 17 Jan. ‘The funeral service for Mr Robert Glover, of 18 Belluton Road, Knowle, who died on Sunday last, took place yesterday at St Silas Church. Mr Glover was formerly senior commercial representative of Messrs Pountney and Co. Ltd. … and he had been with the firm since boyhood. He was one of the best known men “on the road” in the pottery trade and he was also one of the prime movers in starting the sports organisation at Messrs Pountney.
