GIBBS Thomas II

Born c1823 in London (51C) or Bristol (41C).

1838 29 Jan. He was apprenticed to J.D. Pountney, aged 14 years (Ao).
1841 Apprentice potter, Vernon Court, St Thomas’s parish (11) (41C).
1845 1 Sep. Browns Row, the son of Thomas Gibbs, a cordwainer, he married Ann Mason, the daughter of Daniel Mason, a labourer (JBPR).
1846-51 Bread Street, St Philip’s parish (PPR).
1851 119 St Thomas Street, St Thomas’s parish (28), living with his wife Ann (28) born in Bristol, and children (51C).
1853 3 Oct. 119 St Thomas Street, St Thomas’s parish (ThPR).
1854 Possibly the Thomas Gibbs who died in Bristol (Ancestry website).
1861 His wife was a widow and warehousewoman living at 5 Plough Street, St Thomas’s parish, with her children Mary Ann (14), born in Temple Street, Harriet (10) and William (7), both born in Thomas Street.  Her eldest son Thomas (13), was living with his uncle William Mason, a labourer, and his wife Morgana at 122 Thomas Street (61C).
1874 12 Aug. He was noted as a potter when his daughter Harriet (24) of Clarence Place, married Joseph Daniel Price (JBPR).
1875 26 Jul. Noted as a potter when his son William (22) of St Philip’s parish, married Fanny Louisa Chester (PPR).

Mary Ann (aged 1 mth), bapt 23 Aug 1846 (PPR), Thomas (aged 19 days), bapt 25 Jun 1848 (PPR), Harriet, born 18 Dec 1850, bapt 12 Jan 1851 (PPR), William, bapt 3 Oct 1853 (ThPR)
