Described as an employee of White’s Pottery, Rich’s Buildings, Redcross Street, when she assaulted another employee, Ann Long. ‘Long took away George’s candle, on which the latter seized her by the throat, pulled her to the ground, twisted her neck, and violently beat her head against the floor’. George was ordered to be kept in custody until Long could leave the Royal Infirmary and was able to appear in court (Bristol Times). |
