1861 Potter, Upper Cheltenham Place, St James’s and St Paul’s parish (32), living with his wife Elizabeth (32), born in Hanley, Staffordshire (61C).
1865 13 Mar. Described as the manager at Pountney’s Bristol Pottery (Western Daily Press).
1867 25 May. He was described as the manager of the Bristol Pottery in Water Lane (Bristol Mercury).
1871 Manager of potteries, 1 Freemantle Villa, St James’s and St Paul’s parish (42), living with his wife Elizabeth (50), born in Cheadle, Staffordshire (71C).
1881 Retired chemist, Sandown Lane, Wavertree, Lancashire (52), living with his wife Elizabeth (62), born in Hanley, Staffordshire (81C).
1881 20 Aug. He died in Liverpool leaving an estate valued at £6,027.14s.4d (PRO Calendar of Wills and Administrations).
