John Cherry of Bristol, potter, made his will in which he left to his mother Alice Holsworthy, the wife of William Holsworthy, cordwainer, one gold guinea; to his wife Sarah his house in Cherry Street in St Mary Redcliffe parish in the occupation of Charles Parsons, cordwainer, and all the residue of his estate. The will was proved by his widow on 27 Sep 1738 (BRO Will 1738/19). |
