The son of John Brinton of Bristol, glassmaker (A).

1735 31 Jul. He was apprenticed to William Pottery. Friends to find apparel and £5 paid with the apprentice (A, Ao, Ar).
1740 9 Apr. A potter of St Mary Redcliffe parish he was granted a licence to marry Elizabeth Blaning of the same parish, at St Mary Redcliffe. Bondsman: John Brinto of St Mary Redcliffe parish, glassmaker (M).
1740 10 Apr. ‘Benjamin Brineton married Elizabeth Blanning’ (RPR).
1741 12 Jan. Daughter Frances baptised (RPR).
1743 18 Sep. An unnamed child baptised (RPR).
1744 27 Oct. Benjamin, son of Benjamin Brinton, deceased, baptised (RPR).
