BONE Henry

The son of Henry Bone of Plymouth, Devon, cabinetmaker (A).

1772 23 Jan. He was apprenticed to Richard and Judith Champion (A, Ao).
1781 9 Feb. He became a free china manufacturer (F, G).
1784 China manufacturer, Great Bath Street, St James’s Clerkenwell, London (P).
In 1801 he appears to have been elected an Associate of the Royal Academy and he was appointed painter in enamel to King George III.  In 1811 he was made a full member of the Academy and he died in 1834 (Pountney 1920, 224).
